Margherita is a Danish teenager who never knew her father. Francesco is a young Italian father who never had the chance to raise his daughter. Two parallel lives destined to never meet, from the day when Angelika, Margherita's mother, took her away from Italy and Francesco with the aim to grow her in Denmark. Margherita and Francesco, meet each other after Angelika's sudden death in a car accident.

"Nothing is like you" is the story of a difficult love, the one between a father who could not - or did not know - be there, and a daughter who reacted with the ferocious vitality of adolescence.

In this inscrutable universe Margherita moves between desires on a collision course and between these conflicting forces, sometimes Margherita would like to disappear. Is it possible to forgive a father who has not been there? And is it possible for a biological father to become a real father? Can love overcome fear?
Between relapses and new beginnings, outbursts of anger and tears of joy, the story of Margherita and Francesco undoubtedly says yes. It is a love story, in which words manage to change a destiny, in which love finally arrives but only if conquered.
