The documentary concert was recorded in the Teatro Carignano in Turin, with the RAI National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jochen Rieder.
The event was opened to a selected public for two evenings, free of charge while the ancient theatre was transformed in a TV multi-camera studio in order to proceed with the live shooting of the concert. Even if unofficially, this was only the second time that Jonas Kaufmann performed in Italy.
The full concert and the documentary aired on prime time ZDF channel and distributed worldwide by Sony Europe.
